Meet Brian Winterscheidt!
Brian Winterscheidt began working for LWPB in 1999 as a student intern while he completed his degree at Oklahoma State University. Those days were spent running the diazo machine to make bluelines, driving drawing sets to clients all over the state, and rummaging through the musty off-site storage archives. As the field of architecture has seen rapid technology development over the last 20 years, many of those jobs are now obsolete – but Brian has made it a point to stay on top of the ever-changing and adapting software world.
When Brian graduated in 2003, we put him to work on real drawing and design, first in education projects, and – for the last 15 or so years – on the Federal side. He has worked on numerous projects throughout the state and nation and has enjoyed trips to both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and many places in between to meet with clients. He is a thoughtful, meticulous designer and natural strategist, and brings skill, dedication, and a professional approach that clients and team partners alike have come to rely on as he leads many of our Design/Build projects. Brian has also distinguished himself as the go-to-guy for all things Revit. Since the firm adopted Revit, Brian has created more than 1,000 families within Revit, plus all the firm's templates and custom content. He’s also the one that gets us out of binds when the software gives us fits!
In his spare time, Brian loves spending time with his wife and 6 children; camping, hiking, playing board games, and experimenting in the kitchen. He also loves traveling and has been to Asia, Europe, and on many road trips throughout the United States. His family has been planning an extended National Park mega-road trip that they can’t wait to take, once the COVID world settles down a bit.
"Brian's broad expertise makes him an integral part of the team across all LWPB sectors. We're thankful for his extensive knowledge and continuous leadership to provide Excellent Design, Every Time." - Craig Foster, AIA, Principal
